On February 25, 2025, Vivek Yadav aka Sunil aka Karu Ji aka Break aka Neta Ji, the in charge of the Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) South Bihar regional committee and ‘zonal commander’ of the People’s Liberation Guerilla Army (PLGA), was shot dead, and his body, with bullet wounds to the head and back, was found at an abandoned spot near Gaibachhia Dam, close to the Majhauli Hills under Dumaria Police Station limits in Gaya District.
